Andrew has worked on many large scale institutional projects where teamwork was essential to the success of the project. On the Salesforce Transit Center, a 1.5 million-square-foot multi-modal transit center in San Francisco that includes a 5.4-acre rooftop park, he was a senior designer, working closely with the Pelli team, Adamson Associates and many consultants. For the ARIA Hotel & Casino a 4,000-room gaming hotel and convention center he led the team for the convention center. For the Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital in Lake Forest, Illinois and the subsequent Pavilion Expansion project, Andrew was the Project Architect. Previous projects include the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County, a 500,000-square-foot complex which includes a 2,400-seat opera house and a 2,000-seat concert hall. Andrew worked as a designer at Dan Peter Kopple & Associates in Philadelphia where he worked on the B-C Terminal Expansion at Philadelphia International Airport, and the renovation of Amtrak’s historic 30th Street Station. Andrew got his start designing and building boats. He designed and built a 40’ racing catamaran which he then campaigned nationally in ProSail, the first professional sailing series in the US.
